What is MetroList®?
MetroList is the Multiple Listing Service for Northern California’s Central Valley which provides the official database for properties listings within its geographic area.
Do I have to be licensed in the State of California to join MetroList?
Yes, you must be a licensed real estate broker, agent or licensed and/or certified appraiser in the State of California in order to join MetroList.
Do I need to be a member of a Board of Realtors® to be a MetroList subscriber?
No. Any person who possesses a valid California Real Estate License or an appraiser who is licensed or certified and is in compliance with the MetroList rules can become a subscriber. However, we encourage all agents to seek out the additional benefits of their local association of realtors.
What are the benefits of becoming a MetroList subscriber?
There are several benefits to becoming a MetroList subscriber. In addition to having access to the most complete set of active and comparable properties throughout the MetroList geographic area, participants and subscriber also have full access to Quattro, the listing and comparable data bases for the Bay Area Real Estate Information Services (BAREIS) and San Francisco Multiple Listing Services (SFMLS). MetroList also is the provider for the Supra Key, the electronic key used in conjunction with lockboxes. It releases a container in the lockboxes that has the house key for the listing. |
